The Samtavro Church includes the tomb of King Mirian inside The third, and next to it is the tomb of the king’s wife, where we are buried in the southwest side of the church. The walls of the Samtavru Church are adorned with many distinctive murals and paintings, not to mention the wonderful drawings and inscriptions in addition to rare mosaic designs. Therefore, the Samtavro Church was added to the list of World Heritage in 1994 by UNESCO.
